Cover: Lord Langdon's Kiss
Winner, Royal Ascot

Dear Reader,

Lord Langdon’s Kiss is my very first book. Not only the first one published, the first one I wrote (and rewrote from stem to stern at least three times before submitting to a publisher). So I have rather mixed feelings about it. I have come to see it as something of a practice-piece. I've grown a lot as a writer and I think my more recent books show it! But I worked hard on it, it won the Royal Ascot, and many readers have told me they enjoyed it. My favorite review is from The Romance Reader. Check it out below!

Cheers,
Elena

James Mayland, the Earl of Langdon, is horrified to find his charming but irresponsible brother courting Nell Ashley, the Vicar’s daughter. He is convinced she is a fortune hunter. Determined to save his brother from a loveless marriage, Langdon plans to entice the fetching miss into pursuing him instead. But one ardent kiss teaches the distrustful lord that, far from blunting Cupid’s arrow, he has deflected it deep into his own wary heart...
